Create Your Google Ads Conversion Actions
Open Goals → Conversions → Summary in Google Ads. Create four website conversion actions and use names that are easy to spot:
- RTM Purchase Wetracked
- RTM Add to cart Wetracked
- RTM Begin checkout Wetracked
- RTM Page view Wetracked
Purchase
Create Purchase first. Use different values so the order value can be sent with each sale. This is the conversion you normally want Google Ads to optimize for.
Add to cart and Begin checkout
Create each event as its own action. Google Ads may call the checkout event Begin checkout. These events are useful for observation but do not prove that a sale happened.
Page view
Create Page view last. Use the live Wetracked instructions for its value setting. An older video may show a fixed value, while current setup guidance can differ.
Add the Conversion ID and Labels to Wetracked
Each Google Ads conversion action has details that Wetracked needs.
- Copy the Google Ads conversion ID.
- Paste it into the Google Ads setup for your store in Wetracked.
- Open the Purchase action and copy its conversion label.
- Paste that label into the Purchase field in Wetracked.
- Repeat this for Add to cart, Begin checkout and Page view.
- Check every field before saving.
Common error: Do not paste the Purchase label into the Add to cart or Checkout field. Each action needs its own label.
Save the pixel or ad-channel connection. A new store may show an under-review status while the setup is being completed.
Set Purchase as Your Primary Conversion
Use one simple rule: optimize for completed purchases and observe the earlier steps.
Primary: Purchase
Secondary: Add to cart, Begin checkout and Page view
Make Purchase an account-default goal when you want it used by default across campaigns.
Remove Add to cart, Begin checkout and Page view from the account-default bidding goals. You can still view Secondary actions in the All conversions column.
How to Avoid Double Tracking in Shopify
Double tracking makes one order look like two. This can make revenue and ROAS look better than they really are.
Check old Shopify tracking apps
Look for other apps that send the same Google Ads Purchase event. Do not remove an app until you know which pixel or conversion action it uses.
Check old Purchase actions
An older Purchase action may come from Google Analytics, a manual Google tag, the Shopify Google and YouTube app, a previous tracking app or an earlier agency setup.
Keep the Wetracked Purchase action as Primary only after you confirm that it works. Change the old action to Secondary when you want to keep its history without using both actions for bidding.
If one Shopify order appears as two Google Ads purchases: Check for two Primary Purchase actions, two apps using the same pixel or an old tag firing next to Wetracked.
Fix Common Wetracked Tracking Warnings
A warning does not always mean the same thing. First check which conversion action caused it.
| Problem | What to check |
|---|
| Wrong time zone | Match Wetracked with the Google Ads account |
| Purchase is misconfigured | Check the ID, label, value, goal status and Wetracked connection |
| Wrong label in a field | Recopy each conversion label from Google Ads |
| Old Purchase action is Primary | Confirm the new action works, then change the old action to Secondary |
| Page view used for bidding | Set Page view to Secondary and remove it from account-default goals |
| One order counted twice | Find the second app, tag or conversion action |
| No data in a fresh account | Run a real test, then recheck after the event has processed |
| Collaborator request pending | Review the request and permissions in Shopify |
Test Your Shopify Purchase Tracking
Do not trust the setup only because the connection says active. Test the full purchase path.
- Open the store in a private browser.
- Add a product to the cart.
- Start checkout.
- Complete one real test order.
- Check that each event appears in the right conversion action.
- Confirm that one order creates one Purchase event.
- Compare the purchase value with Shopify.
- Check that Purchase is the conversion used for bidding.
Google Ads and Shopify may not report at the same speed or use the same attribution rules. Look for missing events, wrong values and clear duplicates.

- ☐ The correct Shopify store is connected
- ☐ The Wetracked and Google Ads time zones match
- ☐ Purchase uses the correct conversion label

- ☐ Purchase is Primary and used for bidding
- ☐ The other three events are Secondary
- ☐ An old Purchase action is not also guiding bidding

Do not scale from one test order or one good day. Watch real purchase data and make sure the setup stays steady.
What to Do After Your Tracking Works
Clean tracking is the base. It is not the full Google Ads strategy.
Start with a simple campaign structure. Watch whether purchases appear once, values look right and campaigns optimize for Purchase.
When the data is reliable, use a clear system to move budget toward the products and campaigns that make real sales.

Wetracked Promo Code FAQ
Is there a Wetracked promo code?
The video and current Robtronic page use a Wetracked partner link instead of showing a code that you type into a coupon field. Open the link and check the final signup price.
How much discount does the Wetracked promo code give?
The Robtronic partner page mentions 10% off. Confirm the percentage, eligible plan and duration during signup because the public landing page does not display those terms before registration.
Is a Wetracked discount code the same as a coupon code?
People use both terms for the same offer. In this case, the discount is linked to the partner URL. You may not need to enter a separate code.
Where do I enter the Wetracked promo code?
Open the partner link first. Check whether the offer is applied automatically during signup or checkout. Do not guess a coupon if no field or code is shown.
Does Wetracked work with Shopify and Google Ads?
Wetracked supports Shopify and Google Ads connections. The setup uses conversion IDs and labels to send events such as Purchase, Add to cart, Begin checkout and Page view to Google Ads.
Which Google Ads conversions do I need?
The video creates four actions: Purchase, Add to cart, Begin checkout and Page view. Purchase is the main result. The other actions show earlier steps in the buying path.
Should Purchase be Primary in Google Ads?
Yes, in this setup. Purchase is the completed result you want Google to optimize for. Keep the earlier funnel actions as Secondary unless your campaign uses a different, deliberate goal structure.
How do I avoid double tracking with Wetracked?
Check old Shopify tracking apps, manual Google tags and older Purchase actions. Confirm that one real Shopify order creates one Google Ads Purchase event.
